Melania Trump has declined an offer to meet First Lady Jill Biden on Wednesday in the White House, apparently still angered over the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) “snooping" her underwear drawer during a 2022 raid on her family’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida as part of the government’s probe into his handling of classified documents.
The decision to search the home of a former US president was an extraordinary move, as Trump was indicted on 37 counts related to illegally keeping classified documents and violation of the Espionage Act. The classified documents case in Florida was dismissed by District Judge Aileen Cannon in July.
Earlier this year, Melania called the raid at her Mar-a-Lago residence an “invasion of privacy" and said it was a warning for all Americans that their freedom and rights must be respected. Donald Trump later said Melania felt “very violated" after the raid as the FBI agents ransacked her possessions.

What Melania Said On Meeting Jill Biden?
Following Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election held on November 5, President Joe Biden had invited the Trump family to the White House on Wednesday for a traditional post-election meeting. Typically, the first lady hosts their replacement for tea in the White House.
However, Melania has declined to meet with Jill Biden. “She ain’t going. Jill Biden’s husband authorised the FBI snooping through her underwear drawer. The Bidens are disgusting," a source told the New York Post. “Jill Biden isn’t someone Melania needs to meet."
After his 2020 election loss to Biden, Trump did not invite the family to the White House before the Democrat took office in January 2021, breaking a decades-long tradition. Trump refused to concede defeat in the election and accused the Democrats of “stealing the election" and committing widespread voter fraud, allegations that have not been proven so far.
