Hindus in Canada saw yet another attack on Sunday when devotees were attacked at a temple in Canada’s Brampton by a group of people, allegedly Khalistani extremists. A group of men holding Khalistani flags could be seen in videos, thrashing people with sticks outside the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton.
Canadian MP Chandra Arya said a “red line has been crossed" by Canadian Khalistani extremists, and that the Khalistani extremists were getting a free pass in Canada.
From threats to assault, Hindus in Canada have witnessed crime grow at the hands of Khalistani extremists over the years. In July this year, Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun released a video directing Chandra Arya and his followers to return to India.

July 2024
A Hindu temple was vandalised in Canada’s Edmonton, with graffiti painted on the walls.The BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir was defaced with slurs threatening Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Indian-origin Canadian MP Chandra Arya.
February 2024
Oakville’s Vaishno Devi Temple saw a break-in on February 11 when someone forced open the front door, damaging it. The police alleged that the intruder stole some cash and various items from inside the temple before departing.
December 2023
On December 27, at least 14 gunshots were fired on the house of the leader of a Metro Vancouver Hindu temple. Satish Kumar, president of Surrey’s Lakshmi Narayan Mandir temple, said they saw bullet holes in his garage door and on the gate to his property.
On December 22, the Ram Dham temple in Kitchener was attacked when an intruder entered and vandalised the temple. He used a metal barricade pole, he smashed items around the alter.
October 2023
On October 15, the entrance of Laxmi Narayan Mandir in Surrey, BC, was obstructed for hours by Khalistan supporters. A convoy of vehicles carrying pro-Khalistan elements, blaring divisive slogans, passed by the temple during Navratri celebration.
On October 8, three religious temples were broken into in Durham Region. A man broke into a temple in the area of Bayly Street and Liverpool Road in Pickering and taking a large amount of cash from donation boxes. Another temple was broken into near Brock and Rossland roads in Pickering. The same man broke into a third temple in the area of Westney Road and Bayly Street in Ajax.
