Israel's PM Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Tuesday night, with Israel Katz expected to step in as his replacement.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Tuesday night the removal of Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office. Israel Katz is expected to take over the defence portfolio. Additionally, Netanyahu has offered Gideon Saar the position of Foreign Minister, succeeding Gallant.
