Jharkhand Election Results: Counting of votes began at 8 am; the polls were held in two phases - November 13 and 20; a total of 43 seats went to polls in the first round and 38 in the second.

Jharkhand Election Results: The JMM-led INDIA bloc is leading in the 81-seat Assembly in Jharkhand, as per trends available on the Election Commission’s website on Saturday. However, BJP’s Champai Soren has won from Seraikella. The JMM’s incumbent CM Hemant Soren has also secure victory from Barhait.
Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren’s brother Basant Soren has also won the Dumka assembly seat by 14,588 votes. BJP candidate Sunil Soren was in second place in the seat, securing 81,097 votes.
Counting of votes began at 8 AM. The results will decide the electoral fate of a total of 1,211 candidates.
Prominent candidates include Hemant Soren, who contested from Barhait, his wife Kalpana from Gandey, Marandi from Dhanwar and Champai Soren from Seraikela. Other prominent candidates are Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto of the JMM from Nala, Deepika Pandey Singh of Congress from Mahagama, Sita Soren (sister-in-law of CM) from Jamtara, AJSU Party chief Sudesh Mahto from Silli.
On the Jharkhand election results, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a post on X said on Saturday, “I thank the people of Jharkhand for their support towards us. We will always be at the forefront of raising people’s issues and working for the state. I also congratulate the JMM-led alliance for their performance in the state."
