Jubilant Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers across Maharashtra are celebrating their party’s success in the Maharashtra elections and celebrations were also visible at Maharashtra BJP stalwart Devendra Fadnavis’ home.

A video of BJP worker Mohit Kamboj, who goes by the name Mohit Kamboj Bharatiya, lifting up a smiling Devendra Fadnavis amid cheers from BJP cadres and other top BJP workers has gone viral on social media.

In the video, Kamboj can be seen tightly hugging and lifting up a smiling Fadnavis and moments after Kamboj embraces Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Maharashtra BJP state unit chief.

Fadnavis is receiving strong support from BJP cadres who want to see him as Maharashtra chief minister in the new cabinet. Fadnavis served as the deputy chief minister in the outgoing Maharashtra government as the chief minister’s seat was given to Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde.

Several BJP leaders like Pravin Darekar have backed Fadnavis for the key role but BJP and its partners in the Mahayuti coalition – the Shiv Sena and the ist Congress Party (NCP) said that all three parties will sit together to decide who will be the next chief minister.
