From illegal possession to tampering of evidence, Khalistani extremist Arshdeep Singh Gill alias Arsh Dalla, a designated terrorist in India, who was arrested in Canada’s Ontario in connection with a shooting incident has been charged under 11 counts, according to the chargesheet accessed by News18.

Responding to the arrest, Indian intelligence sources said, “A country is giving shelter to terrorists who are wanted in another country. They are committing similar crimes in Canada too. As Arsh Dalla is now in custody, Canada should extradite him to India."

THE FIRING

According to the chargesheet, around 04:17 hours on October 28, the Guelph Police received a call from Guelph hospital regarding a male at the hospital with a gunshot wound.

“The male was accompanied by a second male. They had arrived at Guelph hospital in a Dodge Durango, DCHN175…The two males were identified as Arshdeep Gill and Gurjant Singh. Gill had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his right bicep, which was treated by hospital staff," said the chargesheet.

Officers observed the Dodge Durango, licence plate DCHN175, parked in front of the hospital had what appeared to be bullet holes on the driver’s side of the vehicle and the front window of the vehicle. Upon closer inspection of the vehicle, officers observed two bullet casings inside the vehicle on the passenger seat, indicating that a firearm had been discharged from within the vehicle.

This vehicle was seized and secured by Guelph police. This vehicle was subsequently securely towed to Halton Regional Police Headquarters pending the authorization of a warrant to search.

Region of Halton, a period of time before attending at Guelph hospital, an unknown vehicle had drawn up beside their vehicle (Dodge Durango DCHN175) and several shots were discharged into their vehicle, resulting in the gunshot wound to Gill.
