Motherson Sumi Wiring India reported a 3% decline in net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2024. The company posted a net profit of ₹152 crore, compared to ₹156 crore in the same period last year.
Total revenue from operations rose to ₹2,326 crore, up from ₹2,109 crore in Q2 FY24, marking a growth of approximately 10.3%.
Commenting on the results, Chairman Vivek Chaand Sehgal said, “We are committed to our expansion plans that prioritise our customers’ needs, while actively exploring new opportunities within the evolving automotive landscape across all powertrains.”
He further added, “As we move forward, we will continue to enhance our operational efficiencies and further develop our manufacturing expertise, ensuring sustainable growth and innovation.”
