AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj accused the BJP and Delhi Police of planting wrong information to malign AAP's image in public

Amid claims of CCTV footage of Arvind Kejriwal’s residence being tampered to detry evidence against Bibhav Kumar, AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj on Sunday said that there are no CCTV cameras installed in the Delhi Chief Minister’s residence. Bhardwaj further accused the BJP and Delhi Police of planting wrong information to malign AAP’s image in public.

“In the drawing-room, I have never seen CCTV cameras. I have never seen CCTV installed in drawing rooms. The DVRs have been taken away by the police yesterday itself,” the AAP leader said.

“When there are no CCTV cameras, how can there be any CCTV footage,” Bharadwaj added.

Bhardwaj’s statement came after Delhi Police claimed that the CCTV footage of the May 13 incident, in which AAP MP Swati Maliwal was allegedly assaulted at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence, may have been tampered by main accused Bibhav Kumar to destroy evidence.
