After Sunday’s attack at the Hindu Sabha Temple in Brampton, the Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) has issued a direct threat, asking the Indian government to “stop the visit of Indian diplomats to religious institutions in Canada", failing which they will have to “face off with pro-Khalistan Sikhs".
The SFJ is against the ‘life certificate’ camps in Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver.
On Sunday, November 3, protesters carrying Khalistani flags clashed with devotees at a Hindu temple in Brampton, triggering condemnation by Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, who said every Canadian has the right to practise their faith freely and safely. The Laxmi Narayan Mandir in Surrey was attacked the same day.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday strongly condemned the “deliberate attack" in Brampton and termed the violence a “cowardly attempt" to intimidate Indian diplomats in the country. “I strongly condemn the deliberate attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. Equally appalling are the cowardly attempts to intimidate our diplomats. Such acts of violence will never weaken India’s resolve. We expect the Canadian government to ensure justice and uphold the rule of law," said PM Modi in an X post.
“After temple attacks, SFJ is openly threatening Indian diplomats. In the name of freedom of speech, Khalistani terrorist and SFJ chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is crossing all limits. Attacks on Hindus is a serious crime and Canada is taking no action. In the past two years, more than 10 attacks have been reported. Now, Pannun is threatening diplomats," said top intelligence sources.
WHY ARE THEY AGAINST THE CAMPS?
According to intelligence sources, the Khalistanis are against these camps. “According to them, at such events, Indian Consulate officials gather information on Sikh activists, hire foot soldiers and target pro-Khalistan Sikhs like Hardeep Singh Nijjar."
“Their stance is any organisation that is sponsoring or allowing their facility to be used for life certificate camps should be ready to face Khalistan rally that is directed against the Indian diplomats and not against the place of worship whether it is a Hindu Temple or Gurdwara Sahib," said sources.
“They claim Indo-Canadian Hindus first raised a violent slogan and attacked the Khalistan rally. They say they only pushed back the attackers at Brampton. They feel Indo-Canadians are using Hindu Mandirs in Surrey and Brampton to give calls to kill Sikhs. They say the SFJ do not incite provoke promote or direct any violence, but SFJ will kill Indian system non-violently," they said.

AFTER THE ATTACK
The Peel Regional Police in Canada said that they have arrested three individuals following a demonstration held by the Coalition of Hindus of North America (CoHNA) in protest against the “Khalistani intimidation" and “anti-Hindu" hatred after the recent attacks on Hindu temples in Canada. The three persons arrested were identified as Dilpreet Singh Bouns, a 43-year-old man from Mississauga, Vikas, a 23-year-old man from Brampton and Amritpal Singh, a 31-year-old man also from Mississauga.
A Canadian cop, Harinder Sohi, was suspended on Monday after he was seen participating with the pro-Khalistani groups that launched an attack on Hindus at the Hindu Sabha Temple in Brampton. The suspended cop was caught on camera holding a Khalistan flag as others in the protest chanted anti-India slogans. He served as a Sergeant of the Peel Regional Police.
