Congress Alleges Several Vehicles Outside Its Amethi Office Vandalised, Blames BJP

A heavy police force along with CO City Mayank Dwivedi soon reached the party office and tried to pacify the protesting party workers

Ahead of the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections, some unidentified miscreants attacked the Congress party office in Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi was  around midnight on Sunday. Several vehicles parked outside the office were also vandalized.

The miscreants fled after creating a ruckus, triggering a protest by party workers.

Congress District President Pradeep Singal rushed to the party office soon after the incident and a heavy police force along with CO City Mayank Dwivedi also reached there and tried to pacify the protesting party workers.

CO City Dwivedi has assured that the matter will be investigated and action will be taken against those responsible for the incident.

Police force has been deployed at the site of the incident.
