Htech is ready to unleash the high-end Honor phones in the country.

Honor sells its phones and other products in the country via Htech which is run by ex-Realme CEO, Madhav Sheth who has teased these new phones.

Honor refreshed its Magic 6 lineup by introducing the new Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate in China earlier this week. And now it appears the company is ready to unleash these high-end devices in markets like India.

That’s right, HTech CEO Madhav Sheth has teased the launch of these products by asking users what they would like Honor to launch as its next product in India. He proposed the Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR or the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition. “Which innovation are you most eager to see launch in India?” he wrote.

Honor unveiled the Magic 6 RSR in China this week, which has been designed inspired by Porsche sports cars. It includes a hexagon camera island that was created in association with a renowned design firm. The premium automobile brand also served as inspiration for Magic6 Ultimate, which debuted alongside it but had a different rear panel design using composite fibre material.

Both the phones come with an upgraded H9800 primary camera sensor that maintains a 50MP sensor but with a better 15EV dynamic range. Honor also states that quicker and more precise focus locks are possible with the enhanced Magic6 RSR autofocus.

The Honour Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate run Android 14 with the MagicOS 8.0 interface and have a 6.80-inch full-HD display with 1,280×2,800 pixels resolution and adaptive 120Hz refresh rate thanks to the LTPO panel. Both the models come powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

They have three camera modules on their back, headed by a 180MP periscope telephoto sensor with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 100x digital zoom.

The Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate include a 3D depth sensor in addition to a 50MP wide-angle camera on the front. They have a 5,600mAh battery and enable both 66W wireless charging and 80W wired charging speeds. Honor has priced the Magic 6 RSR at CNY 9,999 (Rs 1,15,200 approx) for the lone 24GB RAM + 1TB variant. While the Magic 6 Ultimate starts at CNY 6,999 (about Rs. 80,600) for the 16GB + 512GB model in the region. It remains to be seen how Htech will price these devices, if and when they launch in India.
