The US President later tried to cover it up by deviating from the topic.
Meanwhile, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Wednesday warned of a "massive" and "harsh" response even if Israel attempted to make a "tiniest invasion" on his country, days after Tehran attacked the Jewish state with hundreds of missiles and drones.
The response came as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country would take a call on how to respond to Iran's attack earlier this week amid fears of an escalation of conflict in the region.
