OnePlus is bringing its Nord CE model which will compete with the Phone 2a
OnePlus Nord CE 4 will be launching in India next month, going up against brands like Nothing, Redmi Note and Realme.
OnePlus is ready for its big Nord refresh in the market for this year, and the new Nord CE 4 model has already been heavily marketed on social media in the past few days. The Nord CE 4 is launching on April 1 (no, really) in India, and the popular Nord model is expected to help OnePlus gain more buyers with the Nord CE 4 launching, and going up against the likes of the Nothing Phone 2a from next month.
The sub Rs 25,000 has evolved, and you could say that a Rs 15,000 4G phone now costs you well over Rs 20,000 for a 5G model with more or less the same features. So, what is OnePlus planning to offer with the Nord CE 4 smartphone which is launching next month? Here’s everything we know about the upcoming model.
OnePlus Nord CE 4 Launch Details Revealed
The Nord CE 4 model will be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, as confirmed by the company recently. The new chip has been developed using the 4nm process which should offer decent performance without letting it heat up. The device will come with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage which will be expandable up to 1TB thanks to the microSD card slot, as the teasers have revealed.
OnePlus is bringing some of its premium features to the Nord CE 4 model, which includes the support for 100W wired charging speed, a first for the Nord series itself. With this speed, the built-in battery should easily go from 0 to 100 in under 25 minutes, or maybe less.
The Nord CE 4 gets a vertical camera layout, and the phone’s teaser hints at a dual-rear sensor module. OnePlus should offer the Android 14-based Oxygen UI out of the box with the Nord CE 4 which is the common point for all OnePlus devices in the market. We also expect to see an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate in the segment, and a lightweight design to compliment the hardware package.
OnePlus Nord CE 4 Price In India Expected
OnePlus Nord CE 4 is shaping up to be a possible rival to the Nothing Phone 2a, Redmi Note 13 series and Realme 12 Pro. Going by the hardware features, we expect the Nord CE 4 price in India to be around Rs 25,000 for the base variant.
