Trump's 'third-rate phony candidate' jab at Kamala Harris over border security

Former US President Donald Trump called Kamala Harris a "third-rate phony candidate" as he launched a no-holds-barred attack on the Democratic presidential nominee over immigration and border security. During his interview with tech titan Elon Musk on X Spaces, Trump claimed that other nations were emptying their prisons and encouraging criminals to migrate illegally to the United States.

"They're doing it right now, while this third-rate phony candidate -- don't forget, I beat Biden. He failed in the debate miserably," Trump said while referring to the June 27 debate on CNN.

Calling Harris "more incompetent" than President Joe Biden, Trump alleged that migrants were coming across the border from all of "Earth" and not just Mexico.

"We cannot have her. She's incompetent... She hasn't done an interview since his whole scam started," Trump said in the interview that received over 73 million views.
