A train derailed near Nizanda in Oaxaca, Mexico, killing 13 and injuring 98. The Mexican Navy reported 193 unharmed among 250 onboard, with 36 receiving medical treatment.

At least 13 people died when an Interoceanic Train derailed in Oaxaca state of Mexico on Sunday, authorities said.
According to the Mexican Navy, the train left the tracks near the town of Nizanda while carrying about 250 people—nine crew members and 241 passengers. Authorities reported that 193 people were unharmed, while 98 suffered injuries, including 36 who were receiving medical treatment.
