A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Pakistan on Monday afternoon around 4:00 pm (IST), according to the Center for Seismology.
“An #earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter Scale hit #Pakistan at 16:00:05 (IST) today," the Center for Seismology (NCS) said.
Pakistan is situated at the convergence of the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates, making it one of the most seismically active regions globally.
