Google Pixel 10a is now official and the new mid-range device has few upgrades from the previous model.
Google Pixel 10a has made an earlier than expected debut this year and even before Apple announces the iPone 17e model early next month. The Pixel 10a has split opinions but one thing is clear, when you browse through the features and specs you can hardly see any changes from the Pixel 9a version.
It becomes the obvious option for many when you look at the features and even using the same hardware specs. The Tensor G4 is the same, the same cameras and even the same battery. The colours are brighter with the Pixel 10a but the 9a is selling for lower than what you would pay for the Pixel 10a right now.
OnePlus 15R gets a 6.78-inch AMOLED 1.5K display with support for up to 165Hz refresh rate like its flagship cousin. OnePlus is using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset to power the 15R with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. You also get the new OxygenOS 16 version to be offered out of the box with promise of 4 OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches. The 15R packs the biggest battery from the brand at 7,400mAh with support for 80W wired charging speed.
The Phone 3a Pro features a 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2,160Hz PWM dimming, and Panda Glass protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC and the phone comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The Nothing Phone 3a Pro’s camera features include a 50MP primary sensor with optical and electronic image stabilisation (OIS and EIS), an 8MP ultrawide angle lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with OIS, EIS, 3x optical, 6x in-sensor.
Not exactly at the same price but just for the cameras the Galaxy S25 FE makes the cut instead of the Pixel 10a for some buyers. Samsung is using its Exynos 2400 SoC to power the device with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It runs the latest One UI 8 version based on Android 16 and you will get 7 OS upgrades along with 7 years of security updates with the device. The Galaxy S25 FE features a triple camera system that houses a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP telephoto lens with OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The phone packs a 4,900mAh battery that offers 45W charging speed but the charger is not available inside the box.
And finally, you have a Motorola phone in the form of Signature. The sleek design of the phone gives you 6.99mm thickness and weighs 186 grams. Even then you get better durability with IP68 + IP69 ratings and MIL-STD military grade protection as well. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset with 12 and 16GB RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
The device gets a triple camera system with a 50MP main Sony sensor, along with a 50MP Samsung ultrawide lens and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto Sony lens.
