An active shooter was reported at Villanova University's Radnor campus on Thursday, prompting a massive law enforcement response and lockdown measures. Pennsylvania State Police, Radnor Township Police, and federal authorities are on the scene, according to Governor Josh Shapiro.

As of approximately 5:45 p.m. ET, Radnor Township Police reported no known victims, but the situation remains active. Students and faculty were urged to avoid the Law School’s Scarpa Hall, move to secure locations, and barricade doors.

Footage shared on social media showed students fleeing and others taking shelter. One post from a person claiming to be on campus described hiding in a utility closet and being informed by a university representative about reports of a possible shooter in the law school’s library.
