The Chamber of Trade & Industry has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the renaming of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Marg in the national capital to Brahmos Marg.

Mustafa Kemal Ataturk was founder and first President of Turkey.

This comes amid the boycott calls for Turkey in India over its apparent support to Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 people (mostly tourists) were killed on grounds of religion.

Notably this road stretch is in the close proximity to PM Modi’s residence.
