AP LAWCET, PGCLET exam on June 9: Check other important details

Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test

(AP LAWCET) 2024 and the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (AP PGCLET) 2024 has announced the

entrance examination dates

for admissions into 3 year LLB and 5 year LLM programmes in the state.
According to the notification, the AP LAWCET as well as the

PGCLET exam

are scheduled for June 9, 2024. Registrations for the exams will begin on March 26 and go on till April 25, 2024.
Eligible candidates will be able to apply for the exam through the official website at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
In accordance with last year's eligibility criteria, candidates seeking admission to

LLB courses

must have a graduate degree from a recognised university with at least 45% aggregate marks, while those aspiring to

5-year LLB programmes

must have attained 45% aggregate marks in Class 12. Notably, candidates from the SC and ST categories benefit from a 5% relaxation, while those from backward classes receive a 3% relaxation.

Further, candidates with an LLB degree or in their final year of study are eligible to apply for LLM programmes.
Application fee details
For AP LAWCET and PGLCET 2024, the application fees vary based on different categories. For OC candidates, the fee is Rs 900 for AP LAWCET and Rs 1,000 for AP PGLCET. BC candidates are required to pay Rs 850 for AP LAWCET and Rs 950 for AP PGLCET. SC and ST candidates have a reduced fee of Rs 800 for AP LAWCET and Rs 900 for AP PGLCET.
