NEW DELHI: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has conducted the APPSC Group 2 prelims screening test on February 25, 2024, in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 01:00 PM at various exam centres across the state. Candidates who will qualify in the preliminary examination will be allowed to appear for the next round which is APPSC Group 2 Main exam 2024.
Once the results are announced for the preliminary examination, candidates who have participated in the APPSC Group 2 exam 2024 will be able to download their results from the official website of the commission at psc.ap.gov.in.
APPSC Group 2 Prelims Result Date 2024
In an earlier notification, the APPSC said that group 2 exam results will be announced in the next five to eight weeks. When declared, candidates can check it on the official website of the commission, psc.ap.gov.in.
The preliminary answer key for the APPSC Group 2 exam was released on February 26, one day after the exam, with a window for submitting objections open from February 27 to February 29.
The Group 2 examination was conducted across 1,327 venues spread across 24 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Out of 483,525 candidates who registered for the exam, 463,517 downloaded their hall tickets, and 404,037 appeared for the exam. The overall attendance rate for the exam was 87.17 percent.
The preliminary examination was held for the direct recruitment of 897 vacancies in Group 2 services of the state.

APPSC Group 2 Cut-off 2024 (Expected)
The commission has stipulated distinct qualifying criteria for candidates to advance to the subsequent stage. These expected cut-offs vary according to categories: 40% for the Open Category, 35% for OBC, and 30% for both SC and ST categories. Candidates surpassing these cut-offs will be shortlisted.
