Awfis Space Solutions Ltd on Tuesday, November 12, announced a major partnership with the Stock Exchange (NSE) for the design, build, and management of over 1.65 lakh sq. ft. of office space at Adani Inspire, located in Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC).
This agreement covers two floors in one of the city's prime commercial hubs.
The BKC area, isconnected to the Aqua Line of the Underground Metro and the Bandra suburban station and is a preferred business destination in Mumbai, the company said.
With the addition of this new mandate, the company expands its footprint in the building, where it already operates a coworking center, Awfis said in a stock exchange filing.
"A few months ago, Awfis became the first flex space provider to get listed on the NSE, and today we are proud to welcome NSE as our client. This collaboration reaffirms our leadership in the flex space sector and our commitment to meeting the unique needs of clients from diverse industries," Amit Ramani, Chairman and Managing Director of Awfis, said.
The deal was facilitated by Rounak Real Estate Consultants, an advisory firm with expertise across prime residential, commercial, and industrial spaces.
Shares of Awfis Solutions Ltd. opened 4.4% higher than its previous close of Rs 775.70, at Rs 810 on the BSE. However, the stock later pared its initial gains and dipped over 5% to touch an intraday low of Rs 730.7.
With 205 centres and over 1.3 lakh seats across 18 cities, Awfis is not only meeting the rising demand for flexible workspaces but also setting benchmarks in tech-enabled and productivity-focused office environments, the filing added.

At 10:50 am, shares of Awfis were trading 0.3% lower at ₹773.4 on the BSE. The stock, which was listed earlier this year in May, has yielded a return of nearly 80% since its debut.
