Bajaj Finance Ltd on Saturday (January 3) released its consolidated business update for the quarter ended December 31, 2025. The company’s customer franchise stood at 115.40 million as of December 31, 2025, compared with 97.12 million a year earlier. During the December quarter, Bajaj Finance added 4.76 million customers.

New loans booked during Q3 FY26 rose 15% year-on-year to 13.90 million, compared with 12.06 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

The deposits book stood at approximately ₹71,000 crore as of December 31, 2025, compared with ₹68,797 crore as of December 31, 2024, according to the business update.


Second Quarter Results

Bajaj Finance reported a 21.9% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹4,875 crore for the quarter ended September 2025 (Q2 FY26), compared with ₹4,000 crore in the same period last year. The numbers were broadly in line with CNBC-TV18’s poll estimate of ₹4,886 crore.

Net interest income (NII) rose 22% to ₹10,785 crore from ₹8,838 crore a year ago, also in line with expectations. The company’s assets under management (AUM) expanded 24% year-on-year to ₹4,62,250 crore, rising by nearly ₹21,000 crore sequentially.

Bajaj Finance’s customer franchise reached 110.64 million as of September 30, compared to 92.09 million last year, with 4.13 million new customers added during the quarter.
