Donald Trump's China Tariffs: Li Qiang said China’s macroeconomic policies this year have fully taken account of various uncertainties.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang said that Beijing has ample policy tools to “fully offset" any negative external shocks from US President Donald Trump’s 104% tariffs across all Chinese imports. The comments were made by China President Xi Jinping’s No.2 during a call with European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen.
Li Qiang said China’s macroeconomic policies this year have fully taken account of various uncertainties. He asserted that Beijing is strongly confident about maintaining the country’s healthy and sustainable economic growth.
