Regarding claims circulating on social media that China has “officially banned all Israeli tourists from entering the country", a spokesperson for the Chinese Embassy in Israel refuted the allegations, calling them “completely false".

“The claim that China prohibits Israeli tourists from entering the country is completely false. On the contrary, China has continued to introduce visa facilitation measures, making it more convenient for Israeli citizens, as well as visitors from other countries, to travel to China for business, tourism, work, study and residence," the spokesperson said.

He also highlighted that China is becoming an important destination for tourism and investment for Israeli citizens. “In 2025, the number of Israeli citizens applying for Chinese visas increased by 44 per cent year on year."
