Iran's newly elected Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei on Wednesday warned of imminent retaliation following the killing of senior security official Ali Larijani in a strike blamed on the United States and Israel.
In a strongly worded statement, Khamenei said those responsible for the attack would “soon pay” for Larijani’s death, underscoring that “every blood has a price”.
He described the killing as an act of aggression that would only deepen Iran’s resolve rather than weaken it.
The remarks come amid escalating tensions in the region, with the strike marking a significant flashpoint in the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States and Israel.
