The 2013 romance drama Raanjhanaa, starring Sonam Kapoor and Dhanush, is making a return to the big screen on February 28. The announcement was made by PVR Cinemas on Instagram with the caption, “Some love stories deserve an encore!” Fans of the film will get the opportunity to experience the poignant love story once again in PVR INOX cinemas.

The Story Behind Raanjhanaa
Directed by Aanand L. Rai, Raanjhanaa follows the journey of Kundan (Dhanush), a small-town boy deeply in love with Zoya (Sonam Kapoor), his childhood friend. Despite Zoya’s love for Akram (Abhay Deol), Kundan remains persistent in his affection. The film explores themes of love, sacrifice, and destiny, making it a standout in the romance genre.
Meanwhile, Aanand L. Rai is currently busy shooting his next titled Tere Ishk Mein. Starring Dhanush alongside Kriti Sanon, the movie promises to bring a fresh take on love and intensity. A teaser featuring Kriti’s character, Mukti, walking through a riotous mob hints at the gripping storyline. The film is currently being shot in Delhi.
