Dilip Buildcon has secured a ₹879.30-crore NHAI contract to four-lane a key Tamil Nadu highway under the Hybrid Annuity Model, marking another large project win for the infrastructure developer this month.

Dilip Buildcon Ltd (DBL) has received a Letter of Acceptance from the Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a ₹879.30-crore road project in Tamil Nadu, the company announced on Friday, November 28.

The contract involves four-laning the Paramakudi–Ramanathapuram section of NH-49 (New NH-87), spanning 46.665 km, under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM). DBL said the project carries a construction timeline of 24 months, followed by a 15-year operations and maintenance period.

The upgrade is expected to strengthen connectivity along an important stretch in southern Tamil Nadu.

This marks the company’s second major order win this month. Earlier in November, the Bhopal-based infrastructure developer secured a ₹5,000-crore mining and infrastructure contract from Aluminium Company Ltd. (NALCO) to develop and operate a bauxite mine over 25 years. The first three years will be dedicated to engineering, procurement and construction, with mining operations running for the subsequent 22 years.

Dilip Buildcon recently reported a weaker September quarter, with net profit falling 22.8% to ₹182 crore from ₹235 crore a year earlier. Revenue dropped 21.8% year-on-year to ₹1,925 crore, reflecting slower project execution. EBITDA declined 5.8% to ₹470.6 crore, though margins improved to 24.5% from 20.3% last year.

As pf, 02:01 PM, shares of Dilip Buildcon were trading 1.5% higher at ₹477.75 on Friday. The stock has risen 10.43% over the past week.
