Disgraced former NYC politician Dan Halloran was caught with child pornography at Miami Airport. Authorities found 1,362 videos on his phone. He previously served prison time for a political bribery scheme.

Dan Halloran, a former New York City Councilman was arrested at Miami Airport on Saturday for allegedly having hundreds of child sexual abuse videos.
As per a complaint filed in the South District of Florida, Halloran was busted at the airport during a layover after a flight from Cuba.
The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents claim to have found 1,362 videos in a hidden folder on his iPhone. He told authorities that around three quarters of the videos contained child pornography. The complaint stated that around 35 of those videos were of "prepubescent" girls.
A CBP officer even found a message on Telegram, where Halloran allegedly purchased child pornography. He faces charges of possession of child pornography, and transportation of child pornography. He is currently in custody at the Federal Detention Center in Miami.
Local 10 reported that Halloran's pre-trial detention heading is scheduled on April 4, with the arraignment set for April 14.
Who is Dan Halloran?
Dan Halloran is a disgraced ex-politician from New York City. In 2015, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for a $200,000 bribery scheme to rig a 2013 mayoral election, where he tried to help a Democrat state senator to run as a Republican. During the trial, his lawyers tried to make an unsuccessful 11th hour plea to claim an insanity defense for Halloran.
He served five years of the sentence before being released due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Halloran was elected on the City Council in 2009 and served till his arrest in 2013.
