An active duty Marine deployed at the Naval Air Station Pensacola has been charged with the first-degree murder of 26-year-old reality TV star Tshey Ronaie Bennett.

Bennett, a reality TV star who appeared on the show Skrippa Bootcamp, was reported missing last Saturday and was found dead in a pond in Mobile, Alabama on Wednesday.

Willie Ellington, 20, was arrested by the cops on Wednesday and his phone revealed disturbing Google searches.

According to a Fox News report, Ellington tried to flee the town via bus and searched 'can someone scream when they're strangled? What is the statistic of prostitute homicides being solved ...' and 'How does a dead body look in two days?' on Google.

Bennett, an exotic dancer and escort, was last seen meeting Ellington at the Sweet Dream Inn in Pensacola, Florida.

According to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, she was working as an escort when she disappeared. Bennett’s car and phone were found at the inn, but her bedding was missing. Authorities quickly treated the case as a potential homicide due to suspicious circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

Ellington was apprehended after investigators received a tip that he was trying to skip town via bus. Authorities set up a surveillance operation at a bus station in Opelika, Alabama, and arrested him when the bus arrived. In addition to the murder charge, Ellington has been charged with possession of child pornography.

The sheriff’s office has not yet disclosed the cause of Bennett’s death, but reports indicate that her body was discovered in a pond in an abandoned neighbourhood in Mobile.

Bennett, who appeared on the first season of Skrippa Bootcamp on HollyHoodTV, was part of a group of aspiring dancers striving to advance their careers in exotic dance. The show aired earlier this year, and Bennett’s Facebook biography lists her as a mother.

Ellington, a Private First Class in the U.S. Marine Corps, was assigned to the Marine Aviation Training Support Group-23 at NAS Pensacola. A spokesperson for the Marine Corps said that the training command is fully cooperating with local authorities.

Bennett’s body was found just 50 miles from Pensacola, and the investigation is ongoing. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office has yet to release further details.
