US President Donald Trump on Monday urged Americans to resist panic and stand firm as trade tensions rose globally after his tariffs upended global markets and declared that the US has a chance to take decisive action “that should have been done decades ago."
In a post on Truth Social, Trump coined a new term – Panican – describing it as “a new party based on Weak and Stupid people." He warned against wavering in the face of international retaliation to US tariffs, urging Americans to be “strong, courageous, and patient," promising that “greatness will be the result".
