The disruption has also affected Eurotunnel Le Shuttle, which suspended vehicle-carrying train services between Folkestone and Calais.

Eurostar urged passengers not to travel to stations unless they already hold tickets.
Eurostar cancelled all train services departing London for Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam until further notice after a power outage in the Channel Tunnel caused widespread disruption to cross-Channel travel. Passengers at London St Pancras were advised by Eurostar staff to postpone their journeys and rebook for a later date. At least a dozen Eurostar services connecting the UK with France, Belgium and the Netherlands have been cancelled, while several others were delayed or rescheduled.
The disruption has also affected Eurotunnel Le Shuttle, which suspended vehicle-carrying train services between Folkestone and Calais, citing a “power supply issue". UK rail authorities said significant disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day.
Eurostar urged passengers not to travel to stations unless they already hold tickets and to monitor live updates through official train status and timetable pages. The operator said customers can change their travel plans free of charge, cancel their bookings for a refund or opt for an e-voucher.
On the UK side, Le Shuttle reported delays of around three-and-a-half hours at Folkestone. At the Calais terminal in France, delays were estimated at approximately three hours.
Passengers at the Calais terminal described long waits and limited information. Le Shuttle said technical teams are working to resolve the power supply issue but no timeline has been given for the full restoration of services.
The outage has left thousands of passengers stranded on both sides of the Channel, marking one of the most significant disruptions to cross-Channel rail travel in recent months.
