The much-awaited Welcome To The Jungle has finally been released and has opened to a good response. As a result, the film is expected to perform well at the box office. Meanwhile, its enterprising ‘Family Universe Movies’ creator and producer Firoz A. Nadiadwallah has exclusively told Bollywood Hungama that the film’s success will also be used to support various noble causes.
EXCLUSIVE: Firoz A. Nadiadwallah makes noble pledge; to donate part of Welcome To The Jungle revenues and all future films’ earnings for widows of brave armed forces personnel
Firoz A. Nadiadwallah said, “I truly believe that for me CSR doesn’t just mean ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ but for me its real meaning is ‘Citizens Social Responsibility’, that is the responsibility of all of us towards all other citizens of the world. We are all citizens of humanity. I firmly believe that it is the moral and social responsibility of each and every citizen to help another citizen regardless of their caste, creed, religion and nationality and make this world a better place with a healthy & safe environment.”
Firoz A. Nadiadwallah continued, “I have decided to donate a certain amount from the revenues of Welcome To The Jungle and from all my future movies for the welfare of the widows of our brave Indian armed forces personnel. The proceeds will go to the Indian Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) & all similar organizations working towards supporting all noble causes which impact and uplift the lives of all socially backward and underprivileged people, especially poor women and orphaned girls.”
Interestingly, Welcome To The Jungle also has an army backdrop. In the film, the characters initially pretend to be army officers while shooting for a film but eventually end up helping the country.
The veteran producer added, “I also make an earnest appeal to other film producers around the world to make similar contributions from their profits to NGOs, especially organizations working for poor widows & orphaned girls. When you make a movie, you reach out to all segments of society across the world. They all come together to make your film a success and when a part of that money is used for a noble cause, then those millions of moviegoers are also blessed with good wishes.”
