Go Digit Q4 net profit doubles to ₹116 crore on premium growth, AUM up 25%

New-age general insurance company Go Digit General Insurance Ltd on Monday (April 28) reported a 118.9% year-on-year (YoY) spike in net profit at ₹116 crore for the fourth quarter that ended March 31, 2025, from ₹53 crore in Q4FY24.


Higher investment income and rise in premium powered the rise in net profit.


The company posted a profit after tax of ₹425 crore for FY25, more than doubling from ₹182 crore in FY24, reflecting a 133.5% growth.


The company reported a gross written premium of ₹2,652 crore for the fourth quarter of FY25, registering a growth of 13.5% over Q4 FY24. For the full year FY25, gross written premium stood at ₹10,419 crore, marking a 15.6% increase compared to FY24.

The return on average equity (ROAE) improved to 13% in FY25, up from 7.5% in the previous year. Assets under management (AUM) as of March 31, 2025, stood at ₹19,703 crore, up 25% from ₹15,764 crore a year earlier.


On the underwriting side, the combined ratio for Q4 FY25 was 109.7%, slightly higher than the 108.8% recorded in Q4 FY24. The combined ratio improved marginally to 108.6% for the full year from 108.7% in FY24.


The company’s solvency ratio strengthened to 2.24x as of March 31, 2025, compared to 1.61x a year earlier, remaining well above the regulatory minimum requirement of 1.50x.

The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of Go Digit General Insurance Ltd ended at ₹314, up by ₹15.45, or 5.18%, on the BSE.
