Arvind Kejriwal's AAP suffered a massive jolt as Kailash Gahlot quit the party with months to go for the Assembly polls in Delhi.

In what is a massive jolt to Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Kailash Gahlot resigned from the party, months ahead of the Assembly Elections in the national capital slated early next year.
In a resignation letter to Kejriwal, Gahlot highlighted the “unfulfilled promises" of the Delhi government and said that the party faces “grave challenges" and the commitment to the people of Delhi has been overtaken by the “political ambitions".
“…I also want to share with you that today the Aam Aadmi Party faces grave challenges. Challenges from within, to the very values that brought us together to AAP. Political ambitions have overtaken our commitment towards people, leaving many promises unfulfilled," he said.
