Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Asim Munir, has become the centre of online trolling after presenting a “crude analogy", describing India as a “shining Mercedes" and his own country as a “dump truck full of gravel".
During his Florida address, the Pakistani general intended to frame Pakistan as the unstoppable heavyweight in the equation. However, he ended up telling the world that India is a sleek, high-end machine, while drawing his own country as a dump truck.
“I am going to use a crude analogy to explain the situation," Munir said. “India is shining Mercedes coming on a highway like Ferrari, but we are a dump truck full of gravel. If the truck hits the car, who is going to be the loser?"

The gaffe came during a special dinner hosted by Tampa-based businessman Adnan Asad, where Munir also issued threats of “nuclear war" and promised to “take down half the world" if Pakistan faced an existential crisis in a future conflict with India.
He even threw in boasts about Pakistan’s supposed oil and mineral reserves.
Online Trolling
Social media, never one to pass up free comedy, erupted. “The only truth in Munir’s statement is that India is the Mercedes, and his country is the dump truck. The rest is delusion," one X user said.
“Munir thinks he can threaten nuclear doom from American soil and hide behind US-China skirts. Pakistan’s military might is a myth held together by duct tape and delusions," wrote another, warning that any reckless move would send Pakistan “vanish[ing] into history’s dustbin."
One meme-maker summed it up with a picture of a missile-stacked Mercedes captioned, “India is a missile-packed beast that is straight-up deadly. It’s gonna wreck you."
For someone claiming Pakistan is the one holding the real power, Munir might have just driven his own “dump truck" straight into a PR disaster.
