India’s Ambassador to the United States, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, hosted a farewell reception for Ambassador Sergio Gor at India House, marking the end of Gor’s tenure before he leaves for his new assignment in New Delhi.
In a post shared on X, Ambassador Kwatra said he wished Gor well as he prepares to take up his responsibilities in India. The event saw the presence of several prominent US lawmakers, including Senator James Risch, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and Representative Brian Mast, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
A large gathering of diplomats, officials, and well-wishers from the US administration joined the evening, reflecting the strong bipartisan support for India–US relations. Ambassador Kwatra expressed gratitude to all attendees for their continued commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.
