Two days after the US imposed the tariff, countries including India, , and Israel are reportedly in talks with President Donald Trump, trying to negotiate, as per a report by CNN.
The talks between Trump and these countries represent only a small portion of those impacted by his broad tariffs. Notably, this is seen as an initial step in ongoing negotiations as nations prepare their responses.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed tariffs with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, reported Reuters citing the State Department’s readout of their conversation.
