IndiGo Q3 net profit fell 77.5% YoY to ₹549 crore due to exceptional costs of ₹1,546.5 crore, including provisions for new labour laws and operational disruptions, while revenue rose 6.7% to ₹2,454 crore; operational metrics showed higher capacity and passengers, but lower yield and load factor, and EBITDAR margins declined.

InterGlobe Aviation Ltd, which operates IndiGo, on Thursday (January 22) reported its Q3 results, with net profit declining 77.5% year-on-year to ₹550 crore from ₹2,448 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations rose 6.2% year-on-year to ₹23,471 crore from ₹22,110 crore.


EBITDA increased 3.6% on a year-on-year basis to ₹5,367 crore from ₹5,178.5 crore. EBITDA margin stood at 22.9%, compared with 23.4% in the year-ago quarter.

The company reported an exceptional loss of ₹1,547 crore during the quarter. EBITDAR excluding forex declined 5.5% year-on-year to ₹7,043 crore. EBITDAR margin excluding forex stood at 30%, compared with 33.7% in the corresponding quarter last year.
