Users globally took to social media on Wednesday to flag that they were experiencing issues while using OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Users took to Downdetector to report cases.
At the time of writing this report, any prompt in ChatGPT’s new chat or an ongoing conversation was turning up a “Hmm…something seems to have gone wrong" response.
“We’re currently experiencing issues," OpenAI said on its page.
“We have identified that users are experiencing elevated errors for the impacted services. We are working on implementing a mitigation," it further added.
OpenAI’s official status page confirmed the outage is impacting every feature of ChatGPT, including conversations, search, image generation, Codex, Atlas and more.
