Amid the heated debate over H-1B visa in US, social media users have propounded a strange theory: Elon Musk may be secretly operating as another user on X.

Speculations are growing thick and fast that Musk, who owns Tesla and SpaceX, is using an alternate account on the platform under the name Adrian Dittmann.

What set off the tongues wagging? Well, Dittmann, an active figure in the debate over foreign skilled workers, has been accused of defending Musk's stance on the issue while raising eyebrows with his strong opinions and vocal support of the Tesla CEO.

Adrian Dittmann's profile of X was created in July 2021 and boasts of over 171,000 followers. But he has has remained a mysterious figure.

Despite appearing in several "Spaces" discussions, Dittmann has never revealed his real identity which has now left many wondering whether he is, in fact, Elon Musk operating under an alias.

While Dittmann has repeatedly denied being Musk, his supporters are not convinced. They argue that the speech patterns, political beliefs and language used by Dittmann closely resemble those of the tech mogul.

The speculation has gained traction since Musk’s strong involvement in the H-1B visa debate, a program that allows foreign workers to settle in US.

Musk, a South African immigrant, has long been a supporter of the program, claiming that he has used it numerous times and believes it is beneficial.

However, his support of the H-1B visa has put him at odds with many conservative figures and supporters of former President Donald Trump, such as far-right activist Laura Loomer, who advocate for more restrictive immigration policies.

Amid all this, Dittmann's X account has been an outspoken defender of Musk. He called Musk's critics "crybabies" and accused them of being "smooth brains."

His relentless support for Musk in these discussions has led some X users to suggest that Musk could be behind the Dittmann account, using it to voice his opinions and engage in debates while maintaining a level of anonymity.

Social media users have pointed to various instances as "proof" of the connection, citing similarities in tone, phrasing and even the frequent use of the term “smooth brain.”

However, others have dismissed these claims as mere "conspiracy theories."

Dittmann himself has avoided addressing the allegations directly during public debates, including during a recent exchange in a "Spaces" discussion.

Even Elon Musk addressed the speculation, dismissing the idea of Dittmann being his alternate account with a meme. He suggested that those who believe in the theory are "subtards."

Musk also criticized the legacy media for perpetuating outdated and misleading reports, suggesting that their coverage of the topic was not only stale but also inaccurate.

While there’s still no definitive proof linking Musk to the Dittmann account, the persistent mystery surrounding Dittmann’s identity and his vocal defense of Musk has led many to continue speculating.
