JNU to hold students' union election on March 22, here's all you need to know

The Jawaharlal Nehru University Campus is set to conduct the Jawaharlal Nehru University Student Union Election on March 22, the poll body election committee announced on Sunday. The JNUSU election will held on March 22, and the the final result will be declared on March 24.
According to the announcement, corrections to the voters list can be made starting from March 12, between 09:00 AM and 05:00 PM. Nomination forms will be distributed on Thursday, from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM. Nominations can be submitted on March 15, Friday, between 09:30 AM and 05:00 PM.
On Saturday, the confirmed list of nominations will be released at 09:00 AM. After this, candidates who wish to withdraw their nominations can do so between 10:00 AM and 01:00 PM. Following that, the final list of candidates will be announced at 03:00 PM on Saturday. Additionally, there will be a press conference conducted by the election committee on the same day.
The previous JNUSU elections took place over four years ago in September 2019. During that time, the JNU Students' Union (JNUSU) experienced a significant victory with a strong showing from the united front of Left-leaning student organisations, including the Student Federation of India (SFI), All India Students Association (AISA), All India Students' Federation (AISF), and Democratic Students' Federation (DSF).
