Juniper Green Energy’s ₹3,000-crore IPO is likely to hit the primary markets in mid-December, with the fast-growing renewable independent power producer preparing for a significant public market debut.
The company’s Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) outlines a steady and diversified growth pipeline across solar, wind and hybrid renewable projects.
All you need to know about Juniper Green Energy’s IPO
Juniper Green ranks among India’s top 10 renewable IPPs by total capacity as of 31 December 2024. Its portfolio has scaled rapidly from a 100 MW solar project in 2020 to 7,898.45 MW (10,069.58 MWp) across 48 projects as of 31 May 2025.
This includes operational solar and wind assets, under-construction contracted projects, and advanced hybrid and FDRE (firm and dispatchable renewable energy) projects backed by battery energy storage systems (BESS).

The company maintained a 100% conversion rate for tenders won between April 2021 and December 2024. Its operating footprint spans key renewable-rich states including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. It has also secured 1 GW of Envision’s 5 MW wind turbine generators to enhance execution scale and efficiency.
What the IPO will fund
The IPO will be a fully fresh issue of ₹3,000 crore, with no offer-for-sale component. The proceeds will be used for:
Repayment or prepayment of borrowings at the company level
Debt reduction across key subsidiaries, including Juniper Green Gamma One, Three, Field, Beam, Kite and Ray Two
General corporate purposes
The offering is expected to draw strong investor interest, given the company’s expanding portfolio and its positioning at the centre of India’s clean-energy transition.
