Local search engine Just Dial Ltd on Tuesday (January 13) reported a 10.2% year-on-year decline in net profit for the third quarter to ₹117.9 crore, compared with ₹131.3 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue for the quarter rose 6.4% YoY to ₹305.6 crore from ₹287.3 crore. EBITDA increased 9.6% to ₹95.2 crore in Q3, compared with ₹86.8 crore a year earlier. The EBITDA margin improved to 31.1% from 30.2% in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company reported other income of ₹84.6 crore for the third quarter of FY26, reflecting a 9.3% increase year-on-year and 15.5% rise quarter-on-quarter, driven by higher treasury levels.
Profit before tax (PBT) for the quarter stood at ₹145.6 crore, down 2.4% year-on-year due to a one-time exceptional expense of ₹21.1 crore related to past service costs arising from the implementation of the new labour code.
The effective tax rate (ETR) normalised at 19.0% for 3Q FY26, compared with a lower ETR of 12.0% in FY25, which had included a reversal of deferred tax on treasury movements from short-term to long-term investments.
Deferred revenue for the quarter was ₹521.9 crore, up 2.9% year-on-year. Cash and investments increased to ₹5,703.0 crore as of December 31, 2025, from ₹5,062.7 crore on December 31, 2024, and ₹5,569.7 crore on September 30, 2025.
On the business front, total traffic for 3Q FY26 reached 184.5 million unique visitors, down 3.5% year-on-year but up 6.6% quarter-on-quarter. Mobile platforms accounted for 86.2% of the traffic, followed by desktop/PC at 11.0% and voice platforms at 2.8%.
Total active listings rose to 52.8 million as of December 31, 2025, up 11.1% year-on-year and 3.1% quarter-on-quarter, with 1,583,120 net new listings added during the quarter. Of these, 37.3 million listings were geocoded, marking a 17.3% increase year-on-year. The total number of images in listings stood at 250.0 million, up 15.7% year-on-year and 4.6% quarter-on-quarter.
Total ratings and reviews increased to 155.7 million by the end of the quarter, up 2.9% year-on-year. Active paid campaigns at the close of 3Q FY26 reached 629,180, reflecting a 4.7% rise year-on-year and a 0.8% increase quarter-on-quarter.
Shares of Just Dial Ltd ended at ₹733, up by ₹10.85, or 1.50%, on the BSE.
