Karnataka Lok Sabha Election 2024 Voting LIVE: In less than a fortnight, the battleground is once again all set to witness an electoral contest in Karnataka on Tuesday. The Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress will lock horns on the remaining 14 seats of the southern state. During the second phase of the Lok Sabha election, half of the 28 seats went to polls, witnessing a voter turnout of 69.56 per cent.

Notably, unlike the first round, this will be a straight fight between the saffron camp and the grand old party as the Janata Dal (Secular) — BJP’s NDA alliance partner — is not contesting on these seats.

During the 2019 general elections, the BJP had swept all these 14 seats, defeating Congress and JD(S), which were in alliance and ruling the state at the time.

Key candidates to watch out for this time around are, Former Chief Ministers Basavaraj Bommai, Jagadish Shettar, Union Ministers Pralhad Joshi, Bhagwanth Khuba, Congress’ Geetha Shivrajkumar, Radhakrishna Doddamani, BY Raghavendra and suspended BJP leader KS Eshwarappa.

Karnataka Constituencies Voting In Phase-3
