Minda Corp achieves highest-ever quarterly revenue, profit jumps 26%

Minda Corporation Limited (Minda Corp), the flagship of Spark Minda, has posted its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹1,290 crore for Q2 FY25, representing an 8% year-on-year growth.

The company’s profit after tax (PAT) also surged by 26% to ₹74 crore, attributed to a strengthened product portfolio and a focus on premiumisation, delivering a PAT margin of 5.8%.

Minda Corp's EBITDA rose 11.7% YoY to ₹147 crore, achieving an EBITDA margin of 11.4%.

The first half of FY25 saw Minda Corp achieving consolidated revenue of ₹2,482 crore, a 9.3% rise YoY, alongside securing lifetime orders worth over ₹4,750 crore.

Notably, over 25% of these orders originated from the electric vehicle (EV) segment, underscoring the company’s commitment to EV market expansion.

A significant highlight of the quarter was Minda Corp’s Technology Licensing Agreement with SANCO (China), which will support the development of advanced Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) locally. This agreement will bolster Minda Corp’s EV portfolio with critical components like charging systems, bus bars, and battery distribution units.

Further, the company expanded production at its Die Casting and Instrument Cluster facilities in Pune and Greater Noida, adding advanced equipment to meet growing demand.

Commenting on the results, Ashok Minda, Chairman and Group CEO, remarked on the resilience of Minda’s business model and its sustained growth trajectory. “We remain committed to innovation, enriching our product portfolio, and driving cost efficiencies across operations,” he stated.

Shares of Minda Corp closed at ₹494.70 on BSE, down by nearly 1% on Tuesday.
