Iran fired another wave of missiles at Israel as US envoy Mike Huckabee sharply attacked Tehran. The exchange exposed contrasting messages from Washington while fears of a wider regional conflict grew.

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee unleashed a fierce attack on Tehran.
As Iran launched another wave of missile attacks on Israel, US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee unleashed a fierce attack on Tehran, calling it the "Mothership of Satan" and accusing the Iranian regime of wanting to "incinerate America and Israel".
The remarks came just hours after US President Donald Trump said he would urge Israel not to retaliate against an Iranian missile attack, exposing differing tones within Washington as tensions continue to escalate in the Middle East.
"Iran fired missiles at Israel last night & early today. The missile alerts sounded at 6am in Jerusalem. They were intercepted, thank God!" Huckabee wrote on X.
"Iran & its proxy agents of evil want to incinerate America & Israel. Mothership of Satan is in Tehran," he added.
MISSILE SIRENS ACROSS ISRAEL
Air-raid sirens sounded repeatedly across northern Israel and parts of Samaria overnight and into Monday morning as Iran launched fresh missile attacks targeting Israeli territory.
According to the Israel Defense Forces, most of the incoming projectiles were intercepted and no injuries were reported.
Emergency responders said a missile struck Samaria, damaging three homes. Authorities were still assessing the extent of the damage.
The missile alerts were heard as far as Jerusalem, where residents were directed to protected areas and shelters.
HUCKABEE RUSHED TO BOMB SHELTER
In a separate post, Huckabee revealed that he had been forced to seek shelter during the attack.
"Heard loud booms overhead and headed to shelter. Hopefully it's the interception. Another day we live under threat of crazed Iranian regime," he wrote.
The comments offered a first-hand glimpse of the tense security situation inside Israel as missile alerts continued through the night and into the morning.
CONTRAST WITH TRUMP'S MESSAGE
Huckabee's comments came shortly after Donald Trump indicated he would encourage restraint following the latest exchange of fire between Iran and Israel.
While the US ambassador adopted an openly confrontational tone towards Tehran, it remains unclear how much influence he has over policy decisions from his post in Jerusalem.
Huckabee has long been regarded as one of the most hawkish voices within the Trump administration on Iran and has repeatedly backed a hard-line approach towards the Islamic Republic.
SUPPORT FROM PRO-ISRAEL GROUPS
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) shared Huckabee's post on social media and wrote, "Allies stand together."
The endorsement reflected strong support among pro-Israel groups in Washington as concerns grow over the risk of a wider regional conflict involving Iran and its allied groups across the Middle East.
The latest exchange comes amid continued hostilities between Israel and Iran, with both sides trading strikes and threats that have raised fears of a broader confrontation in the region.
