As Hamas released 20 Israeli hostages under the ongoing Gaza ceasefire, US President Donald Trump arrived at the Knesset, or Israeli parliament, on Monday, where he signed the guestbook ahead of his address.
“This is my great honor — a great and beautiful day, a new beginning,” the President wrote in thick black ink with a sharpie marker before adding his signature.
Trump will become only the fourth US president to address the Knesset, following Jimmy Carter in 1979, Bill Clinton in 1994 and George W. Bush in 2008.
