At least three people were killed and eight others injured when gunmen opened fire inside the Taste of the City Lounge in Brooklyn, New York.

At least three people were killed and eight others injured after multiple gunmen opened fire inside a Brooklyn restaurant early Sunday, according to multiple reports.

The shooting took place around 3:30 am (local time) at the Taste of the City Lounge on Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights. The fatal victims were identified as three men, who were 27, 35, and of an unknown age, according to the New York Post.

The remaining eight victims were being treated at local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, according to New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch. She said officers responded within minutes to multiple 911 calls and found 11 gunshot victims ranging in age from 27 to 61.

No suspects have been arrested so far, even as investigators believed there had been multiple gunmen. “We have the lowest number of shooting incidents and shooting victims seven months into the year that we’ve seen on record in the city of New York. Something like this is, of course, thank God, an anomaly and it’s a terrible thing that happened this morning, but we’re going to investigate and get to the bottom of what went down," Tisch said.
