NIMCET 2024 Registration: The Institute Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur has begun the online registration process for the NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2024 on its official website at nimcet.in. Key dates
The application process, which has commenced today i.e March 6, 2024 will continue till April 20, 2024 5PM. Subsequently, the edit window for the form will open on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 10 AM and closes on Friday, April 26, 2024, by 5 PM.
Admit cards or hall tickets will be available for download from the website starting Thursday, May 28, 2024, until Sunday, June 8, 2024.

The online examination will take place at the allotted centers on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 2:00 PMto 4:00 PM.

NIMCET 2024

will see 11 Institutes of Technology participating for the entrance test. These are: NIT Agartala, MNNIT Allahabad, MANIT Bhopal, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Kurukshetra, NIMCET 2024, NIT Raipur, NITK Surathkal, NIT Tiruchirappalli, NIT Warangal, IIIT Bhopal and NIT Patna.

Eligibility Criteria for NIMCET 2024
Candidates are required to be Indian nationals who have achieved a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (or 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in either of the following categories are eligible to appear for NIMCET-2024:

Completion of any undergraduate program lasting at least three years, with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects. OR Completion of a B.E./B.Tech. degree from a recognized University/Institution.
Candidates appearing for qualifying examination: Candidates currently in the process of completing their qualifying examination are eligible to apply for NIMCET-2024. However, such candidates must provide proof of their candidature (in the form of a certificate issued by the Head of the institution) for the academic year 2024-2023.
For students of open universities: Students who have finished or are in the process of completing a three-year Bachelor Degree Program (B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons)/BCA/BIT) from Open Universities are also eligible to apply. However, the program must be approved by UGC/AICTE and the Distance Education Council (DEC) of the Government of India.

Step 1: Go to the official website of NIMCET at nimcet.in
Step 2: On the '' section, look for 'Registration Link' and click on it.
Step 3: Once redirected to the new page, read the instructions carefully and accept the privacy terms.
Step 4: Scroll downwards and register for the User ID and Password.
Step 5: Subsequently, candidates will get the option to fill-in their personal credentials and educational qualifications.

Candidates must note that a working email-ID and phone number must be kept ready during the registration process.
Application fee details
The application fee for NIMCET-2024, which covers the test and counseling for admission to the MCA program, is Rs. 2,500 for candidates in the OPEN/OPEN-EWS/OBC category and Rs. 1,250 for those in the SC/ST/PwD category. It is non-refundable. Candidates are required to deposit the relevant amount corresponding to their category.
